Explore the exhibit, “How I Got Here”. The West Kingdom’s soon-to-be-newest Laurel, Liz de Belcaire, will display some very early needleworking pieces as well as her middle-of-the-journey work and more recent work. If you’ve ever wanted to see where an embroidery Laurel started her journey and what the steps looked like for her–it’s at the Salon!
Linette Hatfield teaches Beginning Embroidery, including pattern transfer and five different stitches – everything you need to get started! (Supplies are limited, so please bring a hoop, fabric, needles and scissors. Linette has everything else you need. Napkins are available for a donation.) A very patient, wonderful teacher, Linette will make it easy for you to embroider your own garb, haversacks and accessories with the stitches you’ll learn! You want to be sure to catch this class! All learned at the Salon.
Salon begins after Invocation. Look for our Needleworking Salon sign next to the List Field and join us for an afternoon of watching our valiant fighters while stitching beautiful art! Please bring a chair!
If you are a consort, ask us about our Needleworking Warriors shade for your fighter. Your fighter is welcome as well!
